Tesco has launched a new online store, called Vallarta, which lets shoppers order food from its stores without having the supermarket to drive them there.
The new system will make it easier to get food from Tescos online stores, including the supermarkets in India.
Valladaas new system is called eShopVallarta and will be available in the US, UK, and Australia in the coming weeks.
The online grocery store has over 50 million orders, and has around 15,000 restaurants as well.
It allows customers to order food on their smartphones, which they can store in a special menu area that lets customers choose what to order and how much to pay.
Valls new system allows for orders to be placed using the QR code or mobile phone app.
The company is aiming to get the system to 60 per cent of the stores in India, which are mostly smaller chains and smaller online stores.
A number of restaurants have already started using the system, and some have launched special deals and promotions, to encourage diners to order through the app.
