Lubbock’s Triveni and United supermarkets are among the top 100 supermarkets in Texas.
Trivenis and United have the most stores per square mile and the most customers per square foot in the state, according to the Texas A&M Aggie Daily, and they’re both owned by a big Texan.
Triversis and The Kroger are both in the top 20, according the Daily.
The Kroger is in the list of Texas’ most profitable grocery stores, with a net profit of $6.3 million last year.
The Krogers store in Lubbocks is listed as the seventh most profitable in the country.
The Daily reported that Trivenes has “an impressive inventory of fresh and prepared foods, including fresh produce and meat, and is known for its quality food.”
According to the Daily, “the stores’ popularity with consumers in the region has helped it grow its overall business.
As of December 2017, Trivenises sales had increased 11 percent in the city of Lubbons over the past three years, according and the company also reported record sales at its other two stores.”
It seems like the supermarket chain is well on its way to becoming a destination for Texans, who can now enjoy its fresh and local produce, meats and more.
